Vira

The Ultimate Yoga Asana Challenge

Your camera reads over a hundred points across your body and tells you what to soften, lengthen or let go to get the highest score while you are still in the pose.

Sixty seconds, no signup

  1. Set your camera

Anywhere it can see you standing. Nothing to install, no account.

  2. Move, and be corrected

A cue arrives while you are still in the shape — early enough to act on.

  3. See where you landed

Each score takes its place on the leaderboard, beside everyone else who tried it.

This is what Vira actually watches.

Not a rep counter with a timer. A reading of how your body is arranged, taken many times a second — more often than any eye can catch. A teacher sees you in glances, between everyone else in the room. Vira never looks away, never tires and never guesses. Nothing reads your form more accurately.

Over a hundred points
One hundred and thirteen landmarks — shoulders, hips and knees, down to individual fingers and thumbs. Read on every frame while you move, not sampled once at the end.
Scored from movement
The number your browser shows you is not the one that ranks. Every leaderboard place is recomputed on our side from the movement you recorded, and only a verified score is ever ranked.
The video stays yours
The pose model runs in your browser, on your own device. What leaves it is the tracked skeleton — coordinates, never the camera feed.

One engine, three practices.

Yoga

Hold the shape and see where the line gives — the hip that rotates, the shoulder creeping toward your ear.

Pilates

soon

Control over range. Scored on the alignment that makes the movement worth doing at all.

Fitness

soon

Repetitions counted by movement rather than by clock, with form watched on every one.

Questions

Do I need to install anything?
No. Vira runs in your browser and uses the webcam you already have. There is no app, and no account before your first session.
Where does my video go?
Nowhere. Pose tracking runs on your device; what we keep is the tracked joint positions, which is what scoring needs. The footage never leaves your machine.
How is my score worked out?
Your movement is compared against the pose across every tracked joint, weighted by how much each one matters to that shape.
Is this physiotherapy?
No. Vira is for fitness, pilates and yoga practice. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat or rehabilitate any condition.
What do I need for a good reading?
Room to stand a couple of metres back, enough light to be seen clearly, and a camera that can take you in head to toe.

One pose. Sixty seconds.

See how your form actually scores, and where that leaves you.
